Wholesale Rate: $3.70 per 1,000 Gallons

  • Service Connection Charge: A charge of $70.00 ($20 service fee, $50 deposit) shall be made during regular working hours, except that there shall be no connection charges made for service on the original installation of facilities. If service is reconnected other than during regular working hours, the charge shall be an additional $10.00.
  • Delinquent Service Charge: A charge of $20.00 shall be made for a trip to disconnect a delinquent account. A reconnect charge of $20.00 shall be made if reconnected during regular working hours. If reconnected after 4:15 pm there will be a $10.00 after hours fee applied.
  • Meter Recheck Charge: The customer may request a meter check for $25.00. If the meter shows malfunction the water district will refund the $25.00.
  • Meter Test Request: Upon the request and payment of $25.00, a customer may have his meter tested provided request by the customer is not more frequent than once each twelve months. If such test shows the meter to be more than two percent fast, a refund of the $25.00 charge shall be made and the bill adjusted accordingly.
  • PSC Meter Test Complaint: Any customer of the District may request a meter test by written application to the Commission.
  • Service Investigation Charge: A charge of $25.00 per trip shall be made for service investigation during regular working hours if interruption of service is not caused by failure of District’s facilities. The charge for investigation after working hours will be $40.00 per trip. Any maintenance and repair of facilities beyond District’s delivery point is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Returned Check Fee: First and second offense, a $25.00 fee shall charged. On the third offense a $25.00 fee shall be charged and the customer will be required to pay all future bills by cash or money order.
  • Late Payments: Monthly water charges are due and payable on the 15th of each month. A 10% penalty will apply to all bills paid after this date. If 15th falls on a Sunday or Holiday the customer shall have until the next regular business day to pay his/her account and be deemed timely.
  • Upon request, organic/bacteriological test results are available
  • Any turn-on done after 4:15 pm will be charged an extra $10 after hours fee
  • Line Location requests should be made through calling Kentucky’s Before You Dig line (BUD) by dialing 811
  • Any customer may request a meter test by written application to the Public Service Commission after having first obtained a test from the District. Such request may not be made more frequently than once each twelve (12) months
  • If the 15th falls on a Sunday or Holiday, the customer has until the next business day to pay their water bill without being assessed a penalty.
  • Bills are mailed the first of each month and always due on the 15th. Each customer should have a bill by the first week of every month, if you do not receive one please call the District at (270) 639-9010. WCWD will not be responsible for bills lost in the mail.
  • The Plumbing Inspector can be reached by calling (270) 339-8539 on Monday – Friday or by visiting the Webster County Health Department on Tuesdays from 8:00 – 9:30 am.
