Wholesale Rate: $4.92 per 1,000 Gallons

  • Connection/Turn-on Charge: A charge of $70.00 ($20 service fee, $50 deposit) shall be made during regular working hours, except that there shall be no connection charges made for service on the original installation of facilities. An additional $56.00 after-hours fee applies to all connections made after 4:00 p.m.
  • Reconnection Charge: Services disconnected for non-payment will incur a $40.00 fee for restoration during regular business hours. An additional $36.00 after-hours fee applies to all reconnections made after 4:00 p.m.
  • Meter Re-Read Charge: A charge of $20.00 applies to a customer-requested meter re-read if the initial reading is found to be correct. An additional $56.00 after-hours fee applies to all re-reads made after 4:00 p.m.
  • Meter Test Request: A customer may request a meter test upon payment of a $80.00 fee; however, requests cannot be made more frequently than once every twelve months. If the meter test indicates the meter is more than two percent fast, the $80.00 fee will be refunded and the customer’s bill adjusted accordingly.
  • PSC Meter Test Complaint: Any customer of the District may request a meter test by written application to the Public Service Commission.
  • Service Call/Investigation Charge: A charge of $20.00 per trip shall be made for service investigation during regular working hours if interruption of service is not caused by failure of District’s facilities. The charge for investigation after working hours will be $76.00 per trip. Any maintenance and repair of facilities beyond District’s delivery point is the responsibility of the customer.
  • Returned Check: After a third offense the customer will be required to pay all future bills by cash or money order.
  • Late Payments: Monthly water charges are due and payable on the 15th of each month. A 10% penalty will apply to all bills paid after this date. If the 15th falls on a Sunday or Holiday, the next regular business day will be the final timely payment date.
  • Extension of Service: Webster County Water District will comply with 807 KAR 5:066, section 11(2).
  • Upon request, organic/bacteriological test results are available.
  • Any turn-on done after 4:00 PM will be charged an extra $56.00 after hours fee
  • Line Location requests should be made through calling Kentucky’s Before You Dig line (BUD) by dialing 811
  • Any customer may request a meter test by written application to the Public Service Commission after having first obtained a test from the District. Such request may not be made more frequently than once each twelve (12) months
  • If the 15th falls on a Sunday or Holiday, the customer has until the next business day to pay their water bill without being assessed a penalty.
  • Bills are mailed the first of each month and always due on the 15th. Each customer should have a bill by the first week of every month, if you do not receive one please call the District at (270) 639-9010. WCWD will not be responsible for bills lost in the mail.
  • The Plumbing Inspector can be reached by calling (270) 339-8539 on Monday – Friday or by visiting the Webster County Health Department on Tuesdays from 8:00 – 9:30 AM.
